I am in North Myrtle Beach. It is amazing watching the angry ocean during this storm. I took this photo with my iPad a few minutes ago. The calm after the storm has settled in.

And what is the significance of that? I was in NMB until yesterday morning. Now in Sunset Beach, NC.

The horizon will always slope if the shot is made from an elevated position at an angle other than 90 degrees. Notice the near shore line. Is not the water there also seeking it's level. My compliments to you on a very nice level picture.

Number 1 is a winner for its wonderful composition (I'd straighten the sea and crop out the chairs & potion lower left) and emotional feel. Perhaps a little more Clarity in Camera Raw, but that's a matter of taste.
