Be aware that in Argentina they are called Malvinas and the British call them Falklands.... Adjust the name depending on who you are talking to.

No different than any other travel destination. Regardless of brand of camera, I would suggest the following:
You did not specify camera brand, so I am going to suggest something like a modified Holy Trinity:
16-35 for street shots when you are in Port Stanley or a 24-70 for the same reason.
28-300 or medium wide angle zoom for landscape photography and wildlife.
All this would work with a crop or full frame body. BUT, you have to provide more details. Do you own a camera already, or are you buying from scratch?
And, I assume you are flying from Chile, since you ain't getting there from Argentina.

Book a tour to Volunteer Point to see the King Penguin colony. It is apx. a two hour excruciating ride over open range to get to the beach where three different penguin's have set up their colonies. I recommend using Patrick Watts Tours. It is well worth the drive

I need to travel light because of airline limitations in Chile. I intend to use :
1. Sony RX10 iv (24 to 600mm) 20.1 megapixels on 1 inch sensor. ( I had good experience with it in Peru and Patagonia)
2. Sony A7 iii with Sony 35-105 mm lens.
Also have a Circular Polarizer lens for the RX10.
I wonder if I should buy an ND filter?
Anything else you would suggest other than spare batteries and rain covers.
