We'd just gotten into Vancouver from our Alaskan cruise the last day or so. We were on a "step-on, step-off" bus tour and found Granville Island. Someone pointed out this operating cement plant to us. The silo/cylinders are part of the plant. We understood that the plant operators offered to let local artists spray paint whatever scenes they wanted on the silos. The photo doesn't do the scene justice. We had to dodge cement trucks entering and leaving while I tried to get this photo. Vancouver is a great city.

Here is a photo of the painted silos I took in 2014. As I live in Vancouver area I had time to get a better view of the silos. Also it was not crowded when I went there. Note the structure on top of the silos is not shown. That is because I cloned out that structure as it was distracting.

Thanks for sharing your picture.
It gives a better view of what was done with the silos.
