My daughter asked me if I would like to take in the local nature preserve. I went with her and my granddaughter. I always like to take along my camera just in case. I had just gotten a new lens ,Canon 70-200 L, and I shot this picture as I was straggling behind. It reflects the peacefulness of this place. Yes that is a monopod that my granddaughter is holding and yes that is a camera bag my daughter is carrying.

Very beautiful, peaceful picture. Can almost feel like I am there.

Beautiful picture. I have a question though. It looks like a repeat pattern of some greenery in the lower right corner of the picture. Was something photoshopped out of that area?

The answer to your question is YES! I had to do it (Aperture3) because their was some rubbish that did not fit the photo I was trying to achieve....

Thanks for ALL your kind replies....makes a newbie like me feel good about what I am doing. I love to take pictures and submit them and look forward to your comments....good or bad. It will help me get BETTER. THANKS AGAIN

Isn't it great when you can remove things (rubish) that would otherwise ruin a beautiful picture! Rbo36

very tranquil and the pastel colors are complimentary to the mood. I think you have your family standing in the exact right spot.
