The first photo is of the first night our river cruise of the Danube River. The cruise started in Budapest. We were out sightseeing all day. When we got back to our cabin that night, this is the view we had. I am a light sleeper. So the following morning I got up before sunrise. River traffic was light and I was able to almost get a clear reflection of the Parliament Building. This is the second largest parliament building in the world. While we were there we tried all sorts of transportation. The third photo is of a funicular or cliff rail car. They are pulled up and down steep inclines by cables. We also took a carriage ride around town. The final photo was taken later on on our trip. The cruise was over and we we on our own in Prague.

Nice work, 34.

1. How long did you wait for the tram to get to the "eye" for your shot?

2. What part of the northwest?

3. May we see more of the '34?

Wonderful images. We have river cruised on the Rhine and others but not the Danube. Your images make me eager to go there. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! It was a great trip. We are already planning for our next adventure. I understand the Rhine is great as well.

Absolutely beautiful. Am leaving very shortly for my own Danube Cruise (going the other way, Prague-to-Budapest). Your images are sure a tough act for me to follow.

Thank you. I hope you enjoy your trip as much as we enjoyed ours. We spent four days on our own in Budapest prior to embarkation. We cruised for a week. Then we took a bus to Prague where we spent a few days. Finally, we flew to Amsterdam where we rented a Airbnb condo. So many great memories.
