Anyone running Mojave yet with Photoshop, Lightroom Classic & Bridge? Just got back from vacation, and see Mojave is available from the App store - I am ready to jump as long as Adobe CC is good to go.

Thanks, but I do not have an older Mac that I am worried about installing Mojave on.

Anyway, I bit the bullet and am installing Mojave on my Mac now.

Will know shortly the wisdom of jumping to an upgrade.

Well, Mojave upgrade completed, so far everything looks good.

Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop & ACR, Apple Mail, my set of Topaz plugins seem fine & fully functional. WIFI works fine, ethernet works fine. ZIPPO problems so far.

Prefer the dark background theme instead of the bright all white theme.

Second older Mac attached as my second screen via a Thunderbolt cable works as before, all external disks, USB, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt, all functional.

Nice to know. Good to have someone try updates out and report on them for we the less adventurous! Thanks for sharing!

I usually jump on Apple updates/upgrades without thinking, but this time I was hesitant due to the 32/64 bit issues, but it seems like any issues have not effected my system here. It is actually pretty easy to revert back to a previous OS on a Mac anyway if need be.

One thing. If you use Little Snitch, be SURE to upgrade to the latest version BEFORE you install. Mojave. The older versions are not compatible, and will block all outgoing connections if you don't upgrade.

Other than that, all Adobe CS versions seem to work fine with Mojave.

I prefer dark mode in almost every software program and even on Youtube which I now have on dark mode.

I guess my MacBook Pro machine is getting old, Early 2013. I installed the new Mojave and everything seemed to work all right but my Photoshop ran extremely slow. When using a brush tool I would move it a small amount and then the spinning wheel started then stopped moved more and same thing. Could not handle it. I used Clean My Mac and still same results. Luckily I backed up before I ran the update so I reinstall the last OS version just before Mojave. All is now back to normal.

Does not surprise me. May be related to the video hardware/drivers. Mojave may put more reliance on Metal vs Open GL.

I am running Mojave fine on my late 2015 iMac with a 2GB Radeon Video card and 5k display & 32 Gb ram. Have seen no slow downs with Photoshop yet, and I am in Photoshop daily.

If you were still running Mojave, there might be some performance settings specific to Photoshop that could help get rid of some slowdowns.

Thanks Donald, I tried changing the settings with no improvement. I'm OK with going back for now. There might be a fix coming down the line. This is the first time an update didn't work out. Might get a new machine next year.
