I think I blew it, but wanted to post anyway. The Luminance was nice, the RGB is where I messed up. Going to have to retry it later.

Maybe it just lost something in the processing? How did you incorporate the RGB? Did you boost it?

I don't think you blew it. It looks very good, lots of fine detail as well.
I would think if you wanted to, you could tweak up the channel brightness's of the captures. But you already know that, or have done it.
But in my experience, the unprocessed images I get are a bit lack-luster until booted in the butt in Adopie Elements 12.
I really like the detail you got.
I reshot the RGB last night. My first mistake was my exposure times on the RGB, I did them the same,250 secs, as the luminance and I didn’t look at the histogram. The histograms for the color channels were WAY to the right, so last night I reduced it to 30 seconds.
I’ve had so many issues with my first attempt at LRGB, mostly equipment related. This has definitely trial and error, and mostly error. For some reason the color was mostly red and green instead of the red and blue. Hopefully with the new shorter exposure lights it’ll come out better. I read somewhere that people don’t do LRGB because of the amount of light pollution where they live, i’m Bortle Class 8, so pretty bad. Maybe that’s why I can’t get very long exposures????
I really do like how much cleaner the luminance comes out, in comparison to OSC. Staying hopeful.

Not to muddy the waters, but curious...
Can Luminance data be combined with OSC data?
Brian ,have you tried to re-align the color planes? The lum is on the money and the stars are nice and tight . Don't kick yourself too hard it's all a learning experience . LP that's a cursed word !
