God may not, todays evangelicals certainly do. I thought most Christians distanced themselves from the old testament. They sure do when certain passages come up. How can one read Job and not conclude If God is God he is not good. If God is good he is not God. And then there is all the rape sanctioned by God. Generally these things cause Christians to say "that's the old testament". Since you are obviously embracing the old testament, perhaps you would like to weigh in. The old testament is at least as bloody as the Quran.
