Pegasus ponders....

Peagus, seemingly doing yoman service for Vladimir Putin, rushes headlong into the fray defending Trump, the insult master, and castigating Justin Trudeau in Canada, the most genial and most responsible Canadian politician going, and the freshest face.

But then TRUTH raises its long-abused face and smiles graciously to the North, shunning the good ole USA.

It’s a sad day for reasonable Americans, and places in possible doubt Putin’s payment to Pegasus if in fact such arrive, possibly placing even Pegasus at economic disadvantage. Let’s hope Putin Checks don’t bounce.

MONTREAL — Canadians have had enough.
It takes a lot to rile people in this decidedly courteous nation. But after President Trump’s parting shots against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the day he left the Group of 7 summit meeting in Quebec, the country reacted with uncharacteristic outrage and defiance at a best friend’s nastiness.

Canada rallies around Trudeau after Trump’s insult

JUN 12, 2018

OTTAWA – Canadian politicians of all stripes rallied round their prime minister on Monday after his cautious and polite defense of free trade rules drew an extraordinary personal rebuke from U.S. President Donald Trump.

The United States is Canada’s single biggest trade partner, with two-way exchanges of goods and services totaling $673.9 billion in 2017, and Washington enjoys a $8.4 billion surplus.

Scott Thompson: Why would Trump insult Trudeau?

In his short time in the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump has done nothing to hide his love of our traditional enemies while roughing up historic trusted allies.

Trump defended Russia with such passion early in his campaign and presidency that the term “bromance” was used to describe his relationship with Vladimir Putin.

We saw more of this at the recent G7 summit in Quebec, when Trump held firm on trade and tariff demands over the rest and seemed to relish in the pageantry of control.
In the end, a final communique was issued by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau summarizing Canada’s position, and that seemed to be different than the president’s interpretation.

The typical Trump tweet that followed was nothing we haven’t seen before — quite the contrary...
