A Mull of Kintyre Sunset, Scotland.
With sunsets like this its so easy to see why Paul McCartney has a home here and was inspired to write his classic song.

Geoff, excellent photo. I have looked at your photos for years and never read your byline, "If you don't feel it, don't drop the shutter". That is some awesome advice and I did live by it when I shot film and have lost it's meaning with digital. I need to remember it and start to live by it again.

That is such beautiful image to view.Wonderfully captured.
Beautiful! Which classic song, and what is that motorcycle in your avatar?
Beautiful - now, of course, I'll have that song going around in my head all day!
Thanks Gary, He wrote Mull of Kintyre, which was a massive hit and the video is exceptional, it was made on the beach close to his croft, and he asked the local Pipe Band from Campbeltown to perform with him on the recording and the video, in return he gave all the proceeds to them, The video can be seen on You Tube.

Cheers Greg, thanks a lot. I suppose it does go back to the days of film when we all had to be a bit careful how and when we took a shot and not waste film?, and I suppose I have always only shot what inspires me, which sometimes can lead to spells without taking a single picture. I do agree that with digital its so easy to just click away, but I do feel that can lead to missing a great shot because it allows you to look at something or a scene without really giving yourself time to really seeing what you are looking at?
Thanks again, Its much appreciated,
Geoff
