There is always a lot of discussion about wedding photography, however, earlier today I shot a class reunion. Not your ordinary class reunion, but a 65th reunion. First impression: originally I planned on the class picture being outdoors, but that didn't work, so inside we go. Poor light, not much room. But we made it work, I think. Second impression: a lot of walkers, canes, etc. and folks that can't stand up for very long. Third impression: giving directions to a group of 83 year old folks is like herding chickens. Forth impression: I loved every minute of it!!

I really like that 'Fourth impression' . . .
Have been the unofficial, official photographer for three of our class reunions, including the 50th last year.
A blast. We have a class FaceBook page where they are posted.
Good for you!
And I bet you did a wonderful job!!

OK - - and Post your favorite photo please
It would be fun, I suppose, to post a shot, but these folks are all in their 80s and I'm sure they would not be pleased to find out that I had publicly displayed their picture, without their knowledge. Not only that, but this was a very private venue, not public at all.

Class Reunions provide opportunities for some interesting photos. I scanned head-shots from the original Yearbook and photo-shopped them onto shots from the reunion. Also a few of the folks that could not attend provided recent photos and I added class head-shots and put those photos around.
Everything went on a DVD and those were available for $20.
At least at that age, we are not worried about being "hot" like at the 25th! I am not at the 65th yet, but close...

Yes, I can imagine the difficulties of getting that group coordinated. Wouldn't it be nice to arrange them in the same order - as much as possible - as they were in a class picture from years ago.
Recently took pictures of wife's 45th and getting ALL them together and ALL paying attention to what's going on was fairly impossible. But got good comments on results anyway..

When we did class reunions, we shot early, got the prints developed (along with extra's) and handed them out before anyone left. Always a good time.
