A proud owner of a RX10M4 that is getting a few too many slightly out of focus shots. I realize that not all pictures will be tack sharp but a few too many. I have reset the camera and set it up using the Sony help sheet and the book by White. I have also set it up with a list published in DPView.I realize this menu is on the complkicated side. If any owners that have a set up that I could copy I would sincerely appreciate your help. I consider this camera awesome except for this problem.Thank You

Part of setting up the RX10M4 is to explore and find what works for you. You already have a few guides, so take your camera and give it a good workout. It is not magic, but close. The camera is amazing, but you have to provide more information and maybe some samples for better advice - shooting conditions, subject matter, etc.

I own an Rx101v, and found it more complicated than I expected. However, you have to keep working with it, read, use u tube tutorials, and when you get the hang of it, it is a fantastic camera. Some of the pictures I have taken with it are great!

post a sample.

Is the focus point moving around, as if it has a mind of it's own?
Are you having problems getting the focus point where you want it?

Are you using Capture One Pro Sony version and shooting raw?

This is what I've been getting with mine:

You can buy a downloaded version and keep it on you phone for reference while in the field.

I highly recommend the Gary Friedman book on the RX10 M4. Has many examples and recommended settings for focusing. I like it much better than the White book. This camera is Amazing nut it does have a steep learning curve!
