Veil Nebula (Now The Network Nebula); And The Filamentary Nebula
Supernova remnants.

I always enjoy shooting these to try and get good images.
I've been having intermittant problems and last night substituted another USB cable and it fixed part of the problem.
Then my Atik Infinity shown some non-functioning problems I finally nailed down to my power supply connections.
After those corrections, finally smooth sailing again.

I can't help but wonder what worlds might have perished in the remnants of these final Supernova's...

(I also wonder what fidgiter is renaming these, and why. Veil > Network (?))

Here's the fruits of the evening:

Filimentary Nebula (Witches Broom Nebula) 120s 31 (3720s)
Filimentary Nebula (Witches Broom Nebula) 120s 31 ...

nice work Sonny, can't help thinking there maybe more data within the file just waiting to be teased out with PP.

Hi Marc! Thanks!

Well now, you go to the kitchen sink, take the dish soap and wet the tip of your finger with it.
Now put that finger in your mouth.
PP? Shame on you!

You know I'm a PP minimalist.
(Did your Mum ever put soap in your mouth for saying a bad word?)

I did do some little tweaks in Adobe Photoshop 12. Just to brighten the subject a bit.
Other than that, pretty much as taken.
I need to do the cable change and see what I can do with my found out power connector problem.
I guess I plumb wore the connectors out..

I’ve never heard of it be called the Network Neb, learn something new every day. Looks good. I’ve been getting some luminance for the LRGB I want to do. Working on NGC 6960. Had lots of problems, including the filter wheel coming loose a bit and rotating, so my images from 3 nights won’t line up perfectly, but fingers crossed.

Also, are you dropping these, seems your Orion would have a larger field.

No, no fiddling on my part. That's the FOV pretty much. The objects run off the image.
I wish I had a zoom lens to take in more. (A zoom out lens)
But haven't figured out a way yet.

Thank You!
Once I get my connectors figured out it might get easier.
This stuff gets as "rusty" as I am if it sets so long.

Sonny , your images are looking great . I had a similar issue with a couple of similar problems with the old #216 Pictor and DSI lll the ports just wore out and wouldn't connect. At least you can get out , which is a plus in my book. Keep up the awesome work !

Thanks Ronnie!
I don't know why, but things are just working amazingly well right now.
After the first two alignment stars, almost everything is very close to a bullseye. Especially the last two alignment stars.
Then the objects pretty much are just right there.
I'm being very careful to breath shallow around the mount...

Keep your powder dry back there...
