Looking For Fall Colors

Took a looooong drive through the Watsatch mountains yesterday without much luck. Knew it was a couple of weeks early but what the heck. Anyhow, some maples have turned along with oak brush. Aspens above 8000' are just starting to show color with a few small patches in full yellow and most of that on the east side of the range.

It has been a dry summer here and believe the fall colors will be early and short-lived...unfortunately!!

These were from Monte Cristo...we drove Logan Cyn. over to Bear Lake, down to Woodruff and from there up and over Monte Cristo Pass down to Mountain Green and home. Just shy of 300 miles!
