Sparkler Experiment

I took these photos with my Nikon D7000, 10 sec shutter, 200 ISO, with my 24-70 lens.
I had the couple stand completely still, then had their sons run around them with sparklers. I used my remote to click the shutter. It's not perfect but I think it was fun to try. I want to use it this weekend with a bride and groom. Anyone have suggestions for me to make this better. Excuse the editing, I'm still working on that. I could use suggestions on editing too.
thanks

This is really cool. I would recommend being very careful around a wedding dress.

Balance the skin tones. Fun shot though.

Hi , my suggestion is put the sparklers on sticks and have two people stand outside the shot and form the shape of a heart around the couple .

There are gaps in the sparkler trails, most noticable on the right in the first shot. Have the carrier old the sparklers slightly in front of him while he approaches the camera and slowly move them to slightly behind him as goes in front of and then away from the camera. Then just as he passes behind the couple move his arms from behind him to in front of him so the 'gap' in the trail is behind the couple.

You might get a 1" X 2" board or a dowel like a broom handle and attach the sparklers to it so that they all trace a circle the same size and can be carried with one hand.

Also, I recommend a propane torch for lighting them quicly. It's much more efficient that matches.

thanks for all the suggestions. My sparkler carriers were the couples 2nd and 4th grade sons so not as easy to tell them what to do but they did ok
