Labor Day is a public holiday created by the labor movement (Central Labor Union in NYC) to honor the working people. Labor Day is dedicated to honoring the social and economic achievements of American workers - a day to recognize the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well being of our country. The first Labor Day was celebrated in NYC September 5, 1882
This challenge is all about work you may have done, work places, or images of people at work. You may be retired - from what? And I bet you are still "working"!
I worked in varying capacities as an RN for 55 years: I worked in a doctor's office and also made educational materials for use w patients, taught public health nursing, did camp nursing, pediatrics and spent most of my years working a hospital geriatric unit. I was also an orienter and preceptor for many new nurses and the unit educator for my colleagues. I retired in 2010 and think I never had time to work.
Looking forward to your stories.

Interesting challenge. I work for a fire sprinkler company. Below are some photos of some our work.
This is a fire pump room that I designed and photographed. It is (3) 3000gpm diesel fire pumps.

In these photos we installed foam generators for a museum aircraft hangar, Fantasy of Flight. These photos are of the test after the install. The hangar filled with foam to 6 feet high in about 8-10 minutes. The gentleman you see in the photos is the owner Kermit Weeks.

Nice photos David. Something to be very proud of. The foam looks like a lot of fun. Who cleans up the mess??

Awesome challenge, Pat. Unfortunately, I "worked" in sales
for over 45 years, so I've never really worked...LOL
However, I do have an image or two of people we saw
working during some of our travels. (Hope these are all right...)
