Rudesheim am Rhein, known for winemaking, especially Reisling. In the center of town is the Drosselgasse , a lane lined with shops, taverns, restaurants, hotels and cafes. It is narrow and only 472 feet long but boasts visitors from all over the world enjoying music and wine and dancing all day and evening every day. It is arguably the best known street in Germany.

Thank you for looking and commenting Richard much appreciated, it is indeed a great and fun place to visit. Glad you liked the pix. There are other attractions to Rudesheim such as the Niederwald Monument high on a hill which overlooks the Rhine and reached by cable car and cruises when the river is high enough.

It is a wonderful and fun place to visit, a real party town when many Germans go to unwind. They work hard and they play hard. Glad you liked the pix . Your look in and comments much appreciated.
