Don't know what it is but it's not a brown recluse.

This one IS a brown recluse. Before we knew they were poisonous (in the 1950s) we had them in our house and didn't concern ourselves with them. The were reclusive and left us alone. Every few days we would find one in the bathtub in the morning where they had come out at night, fallen in the bathtub and couldn't get out. We would kill them and go on with our lives. Looking back we were fortunate to have lived with them a few years and never got bitten. God is good.
