Bash about camera Olympus TG-5 ideas

I'm thinking of an Olympus TG-5 for a bash about cycling, hiking, fall over myself and still take pictures of a spiders in a gale camera. Is there any "no reasons" that I should be aware of?

I don't dive, so underwater is just what the sky throws at me and when I fall into a river that I can get out of.

The Olympus TG-5 is what you are looking for.

Can't speak about the TG5, but my TG4 is my "no worry" camera. The TG4 does have limited apature (AV) choices, and no TV (speed) setting, but it does shoot RAW, and is small enough to fit in a pocket (OK, cargo pants pocket or loose shirt pocket). Also works great if you don't want to carry your full kit with you (eg out to dinner). Like the postman in days of old, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these cameras from the swift completion of their appointed rounds".

Have the tg5 for about 4 months it’s an awesome all around point and shoot that’s also tough images are also great and versatile camera. That said it’s not going to replace your SLR
You should get it

Recently bought the TG-5 for the type of activities which you outline. Took it to a recent trip to the Caribbean and got some very nice snorkeling and Kayaking shots, which I wouldn’t have been able to get with my other cameras. Wish I had it with me in Alaska last year. I like it a lot.

I have it and I love it. A "don't worry, be happy" camera.

Just remember: Although it is built to withstand abuse, it is not indestructible. But for the everyday "Oppses" out there, it is the camera that has set the bar.

I have both the TG-4 and TG-5, both fine tough cameras but I would go with the TG-5.
