Good for you, but you approve for the wrong reasons. You just demonstrated that you have no idea what is going on; let's face it you are truly ignorant.

The reason for the pause can be summed up in one word: China.

I suspect that you are not aware the we are in a trade dispute with China right now, and they are taking it on the chin and are approaching panic. Their economy is in free fall because of the trade dispute. You see, they need us far more than we need them and that's being proven as we speak.

The North Korea deal was always highly dependent on China. President Trump has destabilized China, hit them right in the gut, but with a smile on his face and kind words to Xi. Now China is reeling and trying to get some measure of control back. And that includes North Korea. In the meantime, advances have been made with NK, with the help of South Korea and Japan and North Korea is in a strange place.

With Pompeo canelling his trip to NK, President Trump has upped the pressure on China and the cards are slowly being revealed. Trump wants to fix two things with China; massive trade imbalance and the theft of our IP. North Korea is China's pawn is this game and they are fumbling it.

China has never had to deal with a US president like Donald Trump and they are realizing they are going to lose.

Read various reports coming in from China and you will see where there are lots of recriminations and discontent and their economy has plunged by something like $15 trillion dollars over the last several months. This was not what they were expecting.
