I tried this yesterday but must have done it wrong because now I'm not getting any pictures. Wonder why?

Just buy another DSLR and try it again. Maybe use a different set of pliers this time.

While the link to a very detailed "How To" guide would be very helpful, in this case, merely removing the mirror from a DSLR is pretty much a 'seat of the pants"...and "basic shop skills" project. If you can't get the link to work, be sure you have a pair of long nose pliers, a small chisel, a few screwdrivers and, just in case, a ball-peen hammer. The whole project should only take about 1 3/4 hours...you WILL be filled with pride...and a few other emotions, when you are done and can show the results of your handiwork to the next meeting of your camera club.
Be prepared to really 'stand out' with the other members...!!

I am sorry you had trouble with this. I have been very successful with the Nikon D800. If you'll send me one, I will be happy to make the necessary changes for you....

I was following along with him on the video with my new Nikon D850 before I read the part at the bottom, now I wonder if it is covered under warranty.

Right! This time buy a better more expensive one. In fact, I think it works best on a Hasselblad H6D-400c. I bet that would improve the outcome!
