He’s considering “privatizing” the Afghan war to Backwater mercs, you know, the company founded by Betsy Davos’ brother. Black water mercenaries won’t be bound by the US Rules of Engagement.

And you thought it couldn’t get worse... tragic

National news networks said it is being considered... that’s more solid than a rumor.

What??? Are you being sympathetic to the terrorists hanging out in Afghanistan? Letting a group of mercenaries "handle" this could be the best thing we did. Of course, it would be helpful if we continued to provide them with info.

No sympathy for the terrorists; sympathy for the men and women who fought with honor... died or were emotionally harmed. that seems to be thrown aside now that we unleash the dogs of war.

I seriously doubt that those who bravely fought, died, were wounded, etc. will not be forgotten. I don't see how one could connect sending in a private, non-restricted force as pushing aside the military that fought there for over 17 years.

A spokesman for the National Security Council threw cold water on the idea.

“No such proposal from Erik Prince is under consideration,” the spokesman told the network.

“The president, like most Americans, would like to see more progress in Afghanistan. However, he also recognizes that withdrawing precipitously from Afghanistan would lead to the re-emergence of terrorist safe havens, putting American national security and lives in danger.”

And a senior State Department official said there’s “not a chance” it will be adopted.

With this admnistration’s Misdirection, anything is possible. Time will tell.

Malarz - imagine be being constrained by rules of engagement that resulted in the deaths / wounds of your band of brothers only to see mercs enter the theater with no such rules.

That’s what I’m talking about.

So y’all can’t explain your own claims.

Imagine that.

Who is y'all?

What claim did I make?

I was just providing the punctuation point for one of your typically rhetorical questions.

I give you credit for enough intelligence for them to be rhetorical. Otherwise, you ask a lot of questions which have blatantly obvious answers readily available to even the semi-intelligent peoples of the country.
