trying to make up my mind if I want to change from the 10Mark 11 to the 5mark 11 that one is waterproof trying to decide if it is worth the change and if I can use all my other lens with it?

If it works on 1 M43 camera, it works on all.

You understand that it’s not waterproof, but rather weather sealed.

As to your question, you can, but unless the lens you own is weathersealed, you will no longer have a weathersealed camera.

It is weather resistant, definitely NOT waterproof.

It is worth it if you shoot often under the rain. All of your lenses and accessories should fit if you buy the new camera.

You can use your other lenses. Just keep in mind that they have the same sensor and autofocus and that to really take advantage of the em5 mkII’s weather-sealing you need to use a weather-sealed lens—I think these are mainly in the Olympus Pro line and are more expensive than their other lenses. If you haven’t done so, you might want rent an em5 mkII to see if its advantages—weather-sealing, a fully articulated screen and (I believe) somewhat better image stabilization—are worth it’ll you. Also, I haven’t seen any announcements, but it seems like an upgrade to the em5 should be coming out fairly soon.

I think on the Olympus web site, https://www.getolympus.com, you can check boxes to compare the EM-5 II or III(?) and the EM-10 models. This will help you see the differences between the two models.

As for weather sealing, if you out shooting in rain/snow, you pretty much have answered the need for weathersealing.

Good luck with your research and decision making.

I have the EM 1 MK II and really like this camera. I do find that having the battery grip added makes a huge difference in the balance of the camera and lens combination.

Not in too much rain I know my lens won’t work as they are not weather sealed

I have the m5-II and adore it! You'll find it has a lot more capability even over the most recent M10 and you can use all your lenses with it. I've seen it as low as $799. Water/weather. proof is a strong selling point. Solid camera. I paired it with the 14-150 II Olympus lens which is also weather/waterproof. Perfect!

I cannot say enough about the weatherproofing. My former E-M5 and now E-m1 mrII have many times looked like the water covered cameras on the Olympus site (including salt spray and salt water splashes). I have some of the non-micro lenses that are weatherproof and have used the 12-100 f4 (PRO weatherproof). All the PRO lenses are weatherproof. But many of the midrange priced lenses are also weatherproof. The weatherproofing is as close as one will get to waterproof without buying an actual waterproof camera. I have no reservations shooting in any kind of weather other than how to keep the front element clear of the weather. Also, I believe that your E-M10 mrII is only 3.5 stops of stabilization versus 5.5 stops stabilization for the E-M5 mrII.

If you make the decision to purchase the E-M5 mrII, I think you will find that it will make a great additon to your Olympus system. I would keep the E-M10 mrII as your non-weatherproof backup. Also, be aware all the Panasonic lenses that are rated weatherproof will still keep your Olympus E-M5 mrII camera weatherproof.
