Does this Olympus camera have a rear or back focus button as many of the Nikon and Canon cameras have?

Not as a standard out-of-the-box dedicated button, but you can re-assign an existing button to give that option. Have a look at this for guidance: http://thedigitalstory.com/2015/03/set-up-back-button-focus.html

Yes, I have a back button assigned to focus on my EM1 Mark ll, works the same as it does on my D 750.

it's probably the same, but this is the one I use. I do find that C-AF works better than C-AF+Tr
