One of the many beautiful scenes I was privalaged to photograph on a recent trip to Utah
Very nice. Looks like a pristine location.
I like your photograph. It could improve by two means: More exposure and then cropping from the bottom edge up.
This cropping brings the photograph into visual balance by the layering effect in which the sky, the trees, and water take up, approximately, the same area within the frame.
Too much river surface in the frame risks including dead space. Cropping leaves in the water element as essential to the visual experience of this scene as complete, involving sky, trees, and water.
Please see my slight tweaking of your photograph to illustrate my critique.
Good luck.

River Scene in Utah, as edited
You are correct, it is beautiful. Great river lead-in line, color, and general composition. It's nice to have such a great remembrance of nature's beauty.
A beautiful scene, nicely captured. Well done!
