I am not certain I have become a Photographer yet... I would like to think someday I might be called one, but I have grown up with a camera in my face, in my hands, in my car, in my purse... in my life!!..... I have had the urge to take pictures since I can remember. Most of the inspiration came from one man, My Father... the most incredible man I know. He's wise, honest, loving and has more integrity in his little finger than most people I know. I would be honored to be considered a photographer at his level... I was his assistant in my teen years so I learned alot of black/white stuff...and went with him on many assignments.

This by far was my most enlightening and breathtaking experience with photography. I finally found these. I thought I would share some with you. I scanned these in today. This was my trip to Africa in '95. I spent 2 months there as a visitor. My Aunt and her family worked there with the Lutheran World Ministries. I was my grandmothers travel companion. 10 months after this life changing experience I experienced another. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in my spinal cord and told I would never walk again. I spent 3 months in the hospital and 1 year in a wheelchair.
