I have never seen one of these. Reading Wikipedia there are also purple ones. Anyway thought I would share.

Your pink dragonfly is a Roseate Skimmer. The other one in the first shot is a different species so I don't think they are mating.

Thank You was hoping I had discovered a new species....maybe next time....I would love to get a shot of a purple one. They say they are common. Heck as much walking as the boxer and I do and me being 72 they are not common any where I walk....Oh well got a lot of time for the good Lord to send a purple one my way.
