Hooked up my new Tamron-a-saurus to my new Benro gimbal mount and shot the moon. Got to work on getting the camera U2 set for how I am now using Back Button Focus and then mirror flip up with exposure 2 sec later using my remote cable release. I notice a little vibration after the mirror slap but that may have actually occurred after the shot. We had a lot of haze in the air and I took out the distinct orange tint in pp. Definitely am going to have some practice sessions with the 150-600mm but I'm happy with the way it's shaping up. The gimbal head makes it a lot easier to take your time composing the shot and then getting a solid shutter release.
Hmm: I'm seeing quite a bit of noise in the download that's not obvious in the thumbnail. Got to work on this shot some more with the camera. Might try again tomorrow night.
