Hi all,
Since there have been several people who have told me both publicly and privately that they can no see the album from Japan via the link that I posted, I am placing several of them here. All total, there's about 325 images in the FB album. I will place a very small description along with each.
Thank you for your interest!
A 13th century temple in Keyoto. THere are two others that were built identically in Shanghai and Taipei.
One of the exhibits about children in the "Peace Museum" in Hiroshima

Characters from the "Tale of Genji". We went to the river that the tale is based from. A very classic story in Chinese and Japanese literature.
One of the many magnificent temples in Kyoto. Raining when I shot this.
A tourist walking among the flowers in Hokkaido.
Flowers growing on vocanic soil in Hokkaido.
A worker at a flower farm in Hokkaido.
I love that my wife can smile, even in a portion of a volcano's mouth known as "hell".

Love the photo of the flower farm worker - would love to see it larger.

I will only post at the maximum 800px width. You have to understand, this is how I make my living, so I don't mind sharing, but can not allow for reproduction.

Very nice images and story.
Beautiful set Mark. I lived in Japan in the 60s, mostly on Honshu. The picture opportunities there are numerous and amazing. I love the temple and bridge in #5 and the flowers in #6. Your lovely wife looks happy to be there, volcano or not.
Mark - As soon as I saw the picture of your wife, I smiled back.
