George & Jane's baby is getting so big, so fast.... I guess being an only child has it's perks.... more food!!!

It is sad, but she's a new mom, so it's better to learn with one. The first egg she left unattended, so we figured that wouldn't hatch, but I don't know what happened to the second egg.... Junior huge and must love to eat!!

The first egg she left unattended for a long time, but I don't know what happened with #2.... she's a new mom so I guess this was a learning experience for her.

Here is a photo I took a few years ago. All three of these chicks made it. The parents' skill and experience, weather, and luck all enter into the survival equation.

Beautiful family and thankfully all doing well!! the first year George was with Gracie, they had three... but the two older siblings constantly pecked at the runt and he eventually died.... I cried every day, so it's great to see 3 of yours are all happy and healthy!!

LOL... I did!! At first I thought the light one was a fish!! I caught her feeding the baby before.... she turned out to be a great mama!!
sad the two eggs are still there.

Yes it is but in a way I think it worked out for the best. The babies would have been much younger and probably got bullied by Squirmy!
