OK. I know this will start a fire storm, but I must comment. This miss-use of dog tags is just plain wrong. I had to earn my dog tags, and to this day feel fortunate that I was able to wear them home. "Stolen Valor"?
Thank you for your service but stop being an old fart! You earned Dog tags? You don’t earn dog tags they put them on your sorry a55 your first day in just like you didn’t earn your GI boots. You earn a bronze star or a Purple Heart. You earn a rank. You earn your countries thanks for serving. Earn dog tags? lmfao. Dog tags can be bought on the internet. Maybe they belonged to the photographer and he wanted to see them on her. There is nothing even remotely disrespectful in those dog tags being around her neck. I wore my fathers dog tags when I was little playing army. There was a poster who had pictures of a nude woman “wearing” a half track was that disrespectful? Pin up girls were often shot with dog tags around their neck. How do you know those are even real military issue? They could be dime store bought. They could be her boyfriends, her fathers. Women have been photographed wearing various military garb for years is that disrespectful? Or a misuse of Government property? You must have really lost your mind at the end of Officer and a Gentleman when Deborah Winger takes Richard Gere’s had off and OMG she puts it on her own head. Now that is a misuse of United States Government Issued Gear.
It’s just a photo dude chill.
