outsider
Loc: Antelope Valley, California
I've been wanting to get into flash photography for a while and a couple days ago I went ahead and got myself the Canon 430EX ll. (When the old lady finds out about it I'm going to be in trouble) Check these out and let me know if you have any suggestions on shooting water drops or different techniques or styles and maybe post some shots to get some different ideas other than just water drops splashing into a pan. I appreciate the help and ideas.
i think those are great this is one of my next projects also .
Nice outsider. It helps to have a stopshot or equivalent. Nice color reflections.
Great drips mate.Nice one.
Nice and clear. I like the flare in number five. Good luck with the wife.
Maybe try lowering your camera just a bit, so you're looking more 'across' the pool of water, rather than 'down & into' the water. . . so the drops are showing against the background instead of the pool of water?
Maybe try a contrasting color for the 'drop' compared to the pool?
GREAT shots! Keep shooting.
