Flickr photo album

I am having a VERY, VERY DIFFICULT time attempting to create a simple digital photo album in Flickr that I can send to friends. I recently signed up with Flickr but find it very difficult to use. Some of the YouTube videos were useless - they were 5 years old. No good to me. Can anyone supply me with a simple step-by-step procedure on how to make a simple photo album from a collection of 43 photos that I took at a local botanical garden. I am probably posting this in the wrong section but right now I really don't care.
Thanks much, ~FiddleMaker

Hi FiddleMaker, simply go to your flickr page add your images to your photostream from your computer using the little cloud with black upward pointing arrow, then click on the albums tab, once there select new album in the upper right, then give it a name and drag and drop the images from your photostream you've just uploaded. I hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks. I'll try it. I did create a Trial album and found that many of the images were duplicates. Tried to delete the extra images but could not find a delete button - anywhere. Also, Flickr created some sort of link with lots of numbers and letters and when I opened it up from my inbox email it listed about 1,000 filenames of images. I have no idea where it got these from.

If you need another alternative, try:

1. Sign into Flickr
2. On the menu across the top of the Flickr window, in the upper left, hover your mouse over the word "You" next to the Flickr logo.
3. Select "Camera Roll" from the menu displayed from step 1.
4. Assure your images are sorted by "Date Uploaded", see the blue box in the middle of the Camera Roll just above where the image thumbnails are displayed.
5. Assuming all the images were uploaded on the same date, find that date and click "Select All"
6. From the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen after step 5, click "Add to Album"
7. Select Create new album from the list of options after step 6.
8. Give the album a name and description, if desired after step 7. Press <Create Album>
9. Close the window with <Done>
10. Clear the selection of images, upper right corner of the menu that reappears after step 9.
11. From the menu of commands displayed across the screen above the thumbnails of images in the Camera Roll, select Albums.
12. Hover your mouse over the bent arrow for the cover of the album and obtain the URL to the album

Other considerations:

a) for step 5, sort the images by Date Taken if that helps to isolate the images you want to add to the album.
b) all the images in the album should be public

Thanks for your help. All I wanted to do is create a short album of 43 images that I took at a botanical garden this past Wednesday. I cannot believe how difficult and confusing Flickr is to use. Unbelievable. In the past I was using Google Photos but found out that the uploading process freezes up after only 6 images. I always had good results with Google. I found it much easier to use. If I can find some other program that is easier to use than Flickr, I will delete my Flickr account.

About 80 million people worldwide use Flickr. Creating an album really isn't a 12-step process unless you detail the steps to the level of detail above. The drag and drop method from the photostream is even easier. Hopefully, you get the hang of it.

I printed out the above instructions. But I now see that I have 29 images still visible in photostreaming screen after I deleted them with the edit button at lower right corner. I deleted all 29 one by one, then did an exit of flickr only to see that they are still there after I logged back in.
But I was able to create a small album of the botanical garden photos but I cannot find the album anywhere.

How do I delete/remove photos that I don't want from the photostream ?? I seem to be having a problem with that.

Try the camera roll, as described in my instructions. Rather than selecting them all via group, click the individual thumbnails / images and add them to the selection across the bottom. When all the individual images are selected, use the delete command, see the red trashcan in the lower left corner.
