Did a quick try (guests here in less than an hour...) Looks like someone got killed! Used a piece of glass over colored paper and then a CD. Dropped water and oil w medicine droppers and added some food color and swirled it slightly w a toothpick. Hey, dane - I tried

I think I'd actually try it if I had a Macro lens..Thanks for revealing the set up..
