An old fishing boat.

This old prawn trawler (shrimp boat) has been sitting there in the same place for as long as I can remember. I spend a lot of time at the marina but I don't think I have ever seen anyone inside the fence. Downloading is recommended.

Earl, looks like it had better days. Nice capture.
Very nice image, Earl. Why the fence? Not much to protect there to my eye.

It's like a swimming pool and kids , just leave your gate open and a three year wanders in and drowns , the same applies to
Teens and the boat , would you like to pay the hospital and D.R. bills that keep going up , and insurance won't couver you
If it is proven that the get was not locked, you could get jail time also , I would say there is a lot to protect ,and not only you
But your unattended victims
Must have been a nice boat in its day. What a shame.
Maybe Forrest Gump left it there....

Nice shot, Earl. It doesn't look seaworthy anymore.
It does look like a derelict, Earl. I've noticed it in your videos and wondered about it. Excellent shot.

Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate them very much.
Earl.
I like your photo of a once hard working ship. Because I live 1,000 miles or more to get to any ocean and we like fresh seafood, each year we take a roadtrip to the gulf and get shrimp from the independent owners when they come in early in the mornings. I never really appreciated how difficult it was for them to make a living and how hard they had to work to do it until I spent the time to meet and get to know them.

Earl, enjoyed my visit of this 'ship'. The stories it can probably tell, amazing.
