The G15 came out in 2010 and is not a mirrorless neither is it a bridge camera. It's an advanced point & shoot, still a good buy even with today's standards. You need to get your facts strait and this belongs in the classified section.
Nor does it weight 198.4 ounces. That would be one heavy camera. However, it is a highly regarded camera with great image quality and built like a tank.

The specs I posted are a copy and paste from the Canon site. Tell Canon they are lying . . not me!
The G15
IS mirrorless as it does not have a mirror and as a result is quiet when the shutter trips, and is much more compact than any camera with a mirror . . . Canon calls it a bridge camera.

The specs I posted are a copy and paste from the Canon site. 198.4 is probably grams
You are right. For some reason that's where I thought I had posted it. Thanks for the head's up.

The admin might have moved it to the right section.
It's a rangefinder camera, not mirrorless. It's a wonderful little camera. We're on our third one.

A "range finder" was a system of focusing through the view finder.
The G15 has no such device as it has auto focus and can be focused manually. It is not referred to as a "range finder camera".
Any camera with the ability to use all settings in manual mode and shoot RAW files, that is not a DSLR, (which requires a mirror for reflex viewing through the lens), is considered a "mirrorless camera".
A "point and shoot" camera is one that has all automatic settings and does not have the ability for all manual setting to be used at once.
"Range finder" cameras are no longer in production to my knowledge.
