Great Globular Cluster in Hercules

This is a redo. I've updated my Bias, Flats, and was a little more selective in the lights. This is 27 lights of 250 second exposures. Shot with QHY12 OSC on AstroTech 10" RC. (Also added a star spike on the bright star)

I used Jim's new found dpi and tried it out on this image. It probably will work better at the beginning of the process, but I think this came out pretty good.

I've never been happy with my dark parts of the sky, as they always had a reddish tinge to it. Using this higher dpi, I was able to remove that.

22,200 lightyears away. It's radius is 84 lightyears. And there are several hundred thousand stars in this cluster.

And that is why I have been doing this for my planet shots.
