You may have picked up on my style of doing what I call animal portraits. I enjoy getting images like this one. The hard part is getting them to come to a studio setting! LOL

Nikon D600 with my Tamron 150-600mm settings 1/500 second, ISO 800, at F6.3 on aperture priority mode, hand held

That is one outstanding image. Well composed and well exposed. Handheld at 600mm at 1/500? My shakey old hands are not capable of that.

That is one of the finest bird captures that I have seen !! That is one good lens !! I would not think that lens is out to 600mm on that shot. Handheld at 600 is just asking too much from a lens.
