It seems like every time I turn around here, there is a valentine-like celebration. If I am counting correctly there are 4-5 different day of the year where the Chinese celebrate the love and devotion to their significant other. In fact, there's even a theme park here devoted to this very topic. And yes, my spouse took me there. It is quite nice and is themed after one of the ancient dynasties (Song, I think...) so everything is very old looking and cool. We were walking through one section of the park and there was this tunnel of light that I thought was quite pretty. The Chinese LOVE to decorate everything with lights. The cities are at their prettiest at night when all of the buildings are lit. Really an amazing sight to see and places like Shanghai look like Vegas on steroids. Spectacular. Anyway, here is the little light tunnel that was so pretty and my wife and I walked together through.
