These shots are unbelievable. Very nice. I shot one today but it was just setting on top of it's house.

Thanks, had to stand there for quite a while before they would come into the nest. Going to set up my blind a little closer next day off if they have not flown the coop by then.

True enough. Your comment makes me think about the poor bird that gets the cowbird egg every year in our neighborhood. This year it was a cardinal, it really is a thankless job.

They are one of my favorites. I have a nesting box in front and back.
Great shot of some great action. Looks like a perch on the birdhouse would make their feeding easier.
