Signature on photos

Is there a way to put my name on photos I've taken ? I send the photos to people who are in the photo. Then I see it posted to Facebook without any mention or thanks to me (the person who took the photo). I do not have PhotoShop and would prefer not to pay for that service. Thanks for any info.

From what I've been told, I believe you can watermark your photos or even "write" on your images in Photoshop.

Watermarks are easy in the Lightroom Export module.

There are many free photo editors; some likely have an add-text capability if you're OK with something simple. On my Chromebook I have the app befunky. I pay $35/year for all the features, so I'm not sure if the text function is part of that or is free.

Check it out at befunky.com

Below is a quick sample I did for you.

Photologo https://photologo.co for $40, makes a beautiful signature type logo. Look at what I've posted here for examples. Super fast delivery. I changed my domain name, and they modified my logo at no charge. As Riva Wallace says, super easy to drop onto your photographs in Lightroom's export module. If you do not have LR :-( any graphics editor that will handle layers will do the trick.

If you have Windows, the Paint program is included free and you can very easily add text to a picture.

Photoshop Express which is a free download has a really simple signature maker. Text or graphic.

As mentioned PhotoShop Express or other software are free and have ability to add text. My suggestion is to keep it a soft color or at 50-75% opacity and placed in an area that doesn't draw the eye immediately to it. That way you are getting credit for your photo without over distraction in it. Examples can be seen in my JFDCamera link.

On a Mac, doesn’t the included Preview app have that capability?
