Caught some severe storms on the high plains today. Great colors in the clouds, nice outflows, high winds and unfortunately hail on nearby farms. Some tornadic activity, but not at this location near the Kansas/Colorado border. Hope you enjoy the ride... I sure did

I like the colors in 1 and looks like tornado touchdown imminent in the last image.

Very spare. First three have an abstract --but actual, cemented in actuality-- quality. In those, landform foreground (low-ground) contribute without pulling the viewer's (/my) attention from where the attention needs to be; that's something easier to say than to shoot, and you saw/shot it really, really well. The final two captures record interesting cloudforms, but as grab shots, they don't have the same impact. Personally, if #1 were mine, I'd be feeling like I had a really successful day. But its not my shot, its yours.... I hope you feel as successful as I would've.

Impressive series! You had me at #1! What a fantastic shot, the atmosphere is so palpable! And colors are gorgeous. Glad you are safe, wish I could have been there!

Thank you all for your comments and critiques. Storms and storm spotting have always been an interest of mine. And these shots (especially #1) hold a particular soft-spot in my heart, as it was taken on one of my wife's farm/ranch properties that I always felt was a "perfect spot" to capture "perfect storm" visuals. And this storm really does tell the story as I feel/imagined it. Thanks again for viewing and your comments.
