Lassen volcanic national forest milkyway.

I captured this one last night with a quarter moon and at astronomical twilight.
It was a gorgeous night out and always feel fortunate and reguvinated by natures blessings doing night photography. I was unable to line up the equatorial mount for this image so this is a straight shot which I was happy about keeping it simple and back to basics.
I needed very little editing for this one except for stacking to reduce noise and some tweaks.
Thank you for looking.

Beautiful. Thanks for the info.
That is a beautiful place to visit. It is one of the few places on the planet where you can see every know form of volcano, all in one place.
Fascinating image indeed. I just have a question regarding the stacked images since this is something I have never attempted. Did you mean that each one of the 14 images was a 6 second exposure? Thanks in advance.
Ab Fab. I never get tired of seeing your astro images. My only question each time is what beautiful location are you gonna pick next for an amazing Milky Way shot.
Spectacular image. Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing with us!

Spectacular. Thanks a lot for letting us see this.
You have truly mastered the night sky shots. This one needs to be printed and hung on a wall.
It's beautiful. I'm so glad some of you like doing this. I'm always asleep!
