The birds are mostly gone for the summer, the roses had their first bloom, and here come the daylilies (Hemerocallis). Peaking in June, they really brighten up the garden. The name tags are buried in the foliage, so I am not listing them. I have too many to remember them all. Most are not the newest varieties--my garden has no space left for the new ones! Each flower lasts only a day but the plants bloom for several to many weeks.

Beautiful flowers. You have quite the collection,Katy. Well done.

Beautiful. What a variety. Ours are the more standard yellow/orange.

Great shots! We go to Peace Valley often and once caught a heron trying to eat a snake that was just too big for him! He finally gave up! lol

My wife grows irises that bloom first, then daylilies. She grows 100s of both. Many beautiful colors. Cone flowers too.

I bet her gardens are really wonderful, GLKTN!
