Merry, you are so sweet... thank you!! This time of year just brings out the floral in me!!
....my Elephant Ears bulbs didn't survive the winter, even in the garage, they turned to mush!

my elephant ears survive every winter...they are right beside the garage door and I have to whack
some of them off because they block my view and I sometimes run over some of them.
they need to be dug up and thinned out but I am not up for that job...lol.
sorry yours didn't survive...have you ever planted caladiums?

LOL... Nope!! Larry, I only have one little knockout rose that we just bought.... the one from last year didn't make it through the winter, so I have to shoot them wherever I can!!

Merry, you are so lucky you don't have to dig the bulbs up in the winter.... I don't know why ours died even being in the garage in the winter.... oh well, elephants are too big to care for!! lol... as it seems you are well aware!!!
I think we had one caladium years ago that we used as a pond plant, but now that we have to keep it netted all the time, we can't have any tall plants in the pond.
