The Sandia Peak Tram is located at the eastern edge of Albuquerque, NM. During a recent family road trip, we stopped there for our second visit. Weather was great, and we boarded for the upward trip just after 9:00am local time. Posting 8 images. Comments welcome and I hope you enjoy.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. A side note, right now the tram is the only way up to the crest. They have had to
close the forest temporarily because of the drought and threat of wildfires.

Thank you for taking a look and for the info. If I were a skier, I would probably check it out.

I took that ride YEARS ago in February.Excellent trip.
Looked like something out of Dr. Zhivago with all the wind-blown snow.

I've taken pictures there at Sandia and I have one that is almost exactly like #7.

These are very nice pictures. I will have to get up there again and take more pictures.

I don't remember if you mentioned this, but if not, just thought I would say, the top of the mountain there is 10,500 feet above sea level, and looking the other way is the city of Albuquerque.

Thanks for sharing these.

Right after posting, I look again, and see the sign that says, 10,378 feet. Anyway, it is a long ways up there, but a very enjoyable trip.
