I purchased my D750 from B&H.

They also included a kit with extra battery etc.

Very Happy!

One suggestion before purchasing the 750 would be to have your wife spend a day using your 810. I am not familiar with the size and weights of Nikon's bodies, but she may find that the full frame body is uncomfortable. A D7500 or D7200 may be a better option for her.

A number of years ago, I waited for Canon to upgrade the 5D MK II and finally gave up and purchased the MK II. About a month later the 5D Mk III came out and I really regretted not waiting a bit longer. Not sure if the enhancements in a D750 II would be significant. Always a challenge to anticipate what you might be might be missing out on in new features.

I currently am using the D810 and my wife is using my older backup D300. I would like to upgrade her camera to a newer full frame camera. Should I consider the purchase of D750 currently being offered at a significant reduced price or wait for a possible upgrade to the D750 since this camera is about 4 year old technology. D300 works fine so there is no urgency. Any thoughts.

Buy her a D850.

Dear friend , if you want to purchase Nikon D 750 , this is the best time !
I have purchase it for $ 2000 from B & H ( NIKON D 750 Body , 24 - 120 MM F/4 Zoom , MB D 16 Battery pack , Battery , SanDisk 64 Gb SDXC card & Shoulder bag etc. )

After touring through New York , Chicago , Boston , Cambridge ( Massachusetts ) , Detroit , Indiana polis , Columbus ( Indiana) , Patoka lake & Marengo caves ( Indiana ) & Blue spring caverns ( lniana ) and shooting 110 Gb full of pictures ( all fine jpegs ) ; l can definitely say that this is a gem of a camera for $ 2000 .

I have been using my D750 since it came out at the end of 2014. Unless you're desperate for 36Mp you'll struggle to find such a brilliant piece of kit as this. I doubt if I'll ever need anything better. The D850 exceeds my needs, the D750 meets them exactly. Go for it would be my advice, especially if you can get one at a bargain price.
