Osprey just caught lunch

On the way to my dentist appointment today I stopped by a bay for a few minutes and caught this osprey with lunch. I didn't see him get it but I did hear the splash and turned around just in time to get this shot. Nikon D600 with Tamron 150-600 lens at 600mm. If it would have been on my D500 I would have gotten a better shot do to better and faster focusing along with more frames a second.

That fish must be very heavy. Hard to believe the bird can carry it while flying.
