Playing with couple lenses, shot in bright sunshine directly overhead, first pic is with Canon 70-300mm IS (has macro feature, but...), settings F6.3, 1/3200, ISO 2000.
Second is with Vivtar 500mm F8 fixed, manual focus, settings F8, 1.3200, ISO 6400.
I have a valid Macro (50mm F2..5) just thought be interesting to do some non traditional (to me) pics, both are RAW images converted with the Canon program got when registering camera, very little adjustments...

Nice photos. Amy particular reason for high shutter speed? Just asking

Cool subject! Love shooting Callas!
Looks like movement and/or missed focus on the second shot.

I'm curious, why the high ISO and shutter? Also, because of the distance, I'm wondering if a longer focus, (f16?) might have kept things sharper, especially with such high ISO and shutter.

Very nice shots, thanks for sharing.

Well, hand held, winds of about 25mph, and bright overhead sun shine. That and playing with some different settings.
