Captured this image at Longwood Gardens today. The flower the insect is on can't be more than 1 1/2"-2" in diameter, so that will give you an idea of the size of the bug. Posted it on BG, but haven't gotten a response. Only thing I found with a Google search was a site in Australia that requires a login/password. Hoping Mark or someone else has seen this insect and can ID it.

This Flower Weevil didn't walk, at least not while I was looking at it. Maybe I'll hang around to see that if I spot another.
